Guest daisydeeds
Hubby and I asked our migration agent about estimated timings once the case officer is allocated. The reply was that it should take around 1-2 weeks for the preliminary assessment where they request any further information they need then Case officer sends out requests for medicals and police checks and any additional information required then after the medicals and xrays the panel doctor send them to the lCU in Sydney where they are processed and the clearances are then forwarded to the case officer within 2-3 weeks of being received as long as no further information is required then Centrelink then ask for the AOS bond and it is then paid then they process that and forward the approval to the case officer which is likely to take 14 days then DIMA let the migration agent know that all the documents are in the hands of the case officer the current estimated time for them to finalise their decision in regards to the application is 8-10 weeks, if the approval has arrived from Centrelink for the AOS and no additional information is required. So, its likely to take about 3-4 months from the time the case officer is allocated according to those calculations. does that sound fair enough? looks like we still have a long way to go ;-Z Daisydeeds.
