flag of convenience
The ABS job vacancy survey has showed a fall of jobs from 193,000 to 166,000 in November 12 than previous month. They claim 600,000 folk are seeking work throughout the land. The ABS job vacancy survey is considered more reliable more reliable than the Private Sector Advertisment Survey,as it seeks detail to all vacancies whether advertised or not. An example in NSW 3,100 Public Service vacancies was the fewist for that time of year than any time since 1996.

Chortlepuss
Can't speak for any other states, but here in QLD there are lots of jobs for everyone, we all live in 5 bedroom houses near to the beach (but a fast commute on our posh cars via traffic free roads to our offices), go surfing after our short day at work in the incessant sunshine and enjoy super high quality of living compared to our Coronation style dreary unemployed existence amongst illegal immigrants in the drizzly and recession hit UK. ...actually there have been one or two retrenchments recently (that Campbell is an astute bloke!), but these were mostly lazy feckless council workers and nurses who deserved it anyway, and besides got $1000's of severance pay, which given the super low interest rates (and mortgage rates.. and bargain rents, houses) will last them ages... I'm just glad someone came along with a positive post just to give a little reassurance to those uncertain about the move just just how easy it all is. Others on here with unknown agenda's seem to get a perverse enjoyment peeing on others parade.
Guest chris955
It is such common knowledge how great the job market is I recall being told numerous times on here that there were many many jobs in Australia and just how fantastic everyones wages were and that bloke didnt even live in Australia so it had to be true.
