sherylvet
Was not sure where to put this question so hope this is ok here!! We are planning our emigration to Perth this year and obviously starting to think about ALLLLLL the things that need to be done before we leave. i was wondering if anyone knows ......I am on Vodafone in the uk (and I know there is an Australian branch of Vodafone) so is it possible just to transfer my contract??? Likewise with our pet insurance which is with Petplan, and I believe they have an Aussie branch. Any ideas or experiences greatly appreciated! lebourvellec
Vodafone - no Not sure about Pet Plan, but wouldn't have thought so as the underwriting will be different. Maybe get a discount when take out policy??
boganbear
You cannot transfer phone or any other type of contract. Also Vodafone have a very bad reputation here. i woudn't go with them.
Quoll
Foreign country, not much gets transferred from one to the other by way of contractual agreements. I'd be looking elsewhere than Vodafone TBH but check out the coverage maps they may be OK for where you want to live but they dont have the best of reputations. Basically you will be starting again with phone, insurances, internet access, cable tv, licences etc etc
