Perthbum
Read this and found it funny, but there is a lot of truth in it. How many armies does it take to change a light bulb? At least six. The Germans to start it, the French to give up really easily after only trying for a little while, the Italians to make a start, get nowhere, and then try again from the other side, the British to do most of the work, the Americans to turn up late and finish it off and take all the credit, and the Swiss to pretend nothing out of the ordinary is happening. MARYROSE02
I remember seeing a picture of the amount of wine the French liked to take with them to war - more important than actual munitions!
