T22row
Hi we are a young family looking to emigrate to Oz (2 boys 4 and 3) one thing that we are unsure of though is health care. I have a rare heart condition and i have a continuing healthcare package back in the UK so i have help for myself and also with the children so that my husband can remain working. I was wondering whether there is anything like this in Oz as i am in and out of hospital at regular intervals. Please can someone help me. Also my husband it a mechanic, he has certain qualifications and he has been working on his mastertech for Mitsubishi, however he has over 10 years experience and has worked and still works foe main dealerships including Ford, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Toyota. I am currently training as an accountant. Do you think we have any hope if getting to Oz? thanks in advance.
lebourvellec
Welcome to PIO. You should get your case assessed by a Registered Migration Agent as you will have big issues passing the medical that is required, from what you have posted even if you was able to pass the medical you likely wouldn't get the same help in Australia. Some agents can assess your medical condition to see if there is a chance you would be able to pass the medical, if your medical condition is going to cost the Australian tax payer more than $100,000 in the first 5 years of your visa which is the cut off, it will likely not be approved, and there is a one fail all fail rule with visas. Speak to an agent first, but if you are getting the support that you require in the UK, I would seriously consider if moving is the best for you and your family. Try Visa Bureau or Go Matilda. Sammy1
I don't want to dampen your dream at all, but it sounds like you are receiving excellent medical care and home help in the UK for you and your children. Is it really worth disrupting that or swapping it for the unknown? I am not sure how much help you would receive here, there are others that I am sure that would know. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Sapphire
I wouldent risk it, of you are receiving good care now. There are some good here, but theres some very bad as well, I really would not risk it. Plus it could cost you a small fortune here, getting the standard of care you receive now
