options for internet access when arrived in Sydney

Hi,

I'm still preparing my move to Sydney. I plan to stay in a serviced appart. for 10 weeks or so.

One of the things I'll need the most at the beginning will be internet access to get access to all sorts of information, real estate websites etc.

What's the best option for this ? Purchase internet access with the serviced appart ? It seems expensive. I've seen some offers on portable internet modems 3g/wifi but I think it will be very slow and reception might not be good depending on the appart. location. Are there any better options ? Obviously need prepaid as I will not have a fixed address at this time..

Thanks all

You can always get a pre paid dongle and see how it goes. The store should be able to tell you which company has decent coverage in the area you'll be in. And if you don't buy an expensive one, if its a bit slow then you can always try a different one the next time.

Also lots of cafes and so on will have wifi so you can browse over a coffee and look at things that are image heavy.
