Kimorjack
Hi bugskaran30 All the information you need is on this pdf: http://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0020/7319/Skills-Assessment-Guidelines-for-Applicants-1-July-2012-V1.pdf Make sure you are certain the ANZCO Code you think you are under is covered in your work experience Are you going down the RPL route? All documents need to be Certified. You will need all your work experience references in a particular format (they want to know your role, what you did, what you were paid, was it full time)...this was a lengthy process for me as Im Self Employed. Good luck
bugskaran30
Hi Kim, Thnx for the hyperlink. Yes I need to go through RPL route. I already read the entire ACS document and understood the process pretty well however was curious to know if there is anything specific they could ask during assessment which is not mentioned in the doc. Moreover as you mentioned, they need salary to be mentioned on the work reference letter, however let me tel you that it is not mentioned anywhere in the doc. Pls confirm if they asked you to provide anything of that sort which is not mentioned in the ACS assessment doc?? Regards karan
Kimorjack
As far as I remember all information in relation to references was in the link I sent you. Download all the forms and complete the information and look for gaps - eg. if you worked in a company for 5 years - make sure you have Proof that you worked there for 5 years. References are one thing - but you can upload anything that you may think will help you prove you are what you say you are - eg. If you are a COBOL Programmer - make sure you can prove you have completed this role.
Erwan
Do you have a template for a working reference letter? Are we supposed to provide pay sheets? Did they contact your employers to check information?
arrumac
just make sure you can evidence in detail your work experience, regular issues I've seen are with getting employer references of the appropriate detail. The rest of the evidence is pretty standard, notarised/certified copies of your certificates, for a degree dont forget the acedemic transcript, i had to get mine reproduced which took a couple of weeks! arrumac
I have a business degree and a number of years experience in IT Security hence having to do the RPL (I'd rather have a root canal treatment rather than do that again!)
