scott73
I’ve been offered a position in Queensland on a 457. The person who has offered the job has requested that I have a full medical, (PR medical). I have made contact with a panel doctor in the UK who accessed the e-health site using my TRN number. On the site it said all I need is a chest x-ray. I requested that a full medical be done explaining the situation. I was advised that this was not possible as the medical would be rejected. I suggested that I did the 457 med and a PR med, sending the PR med results to the employer. Again the panel doctor would not even entertain the idea. How do I get around this? Any advice would be appreciated
Rupert
The medical is nothing to do with your visa process, just go to any doctor that will do a medical. Maybe ask the employer what it is they want to be checked out for.
lebourvellec
Your employer will have to get somewhere to do the medical for your job, the Panel doctors are not there to do a work specific medical.
