Guest mariapatrawala
Hi, I am currently residing in India with my husband and daughter. I have a RRV valid until April 2013. I have sponsored my 3 year old daughter and husband. They have been granted visas, PARTNER (MIGRANT) (Class BC) PARTNER (Subclass 100). My child has been granted a visa with condition 8502. It states that my daughter cannot enter Australia before my husband and they have to enter Australia once before 22nd June 2013. Due to job constraints in India my husband might not be able to enter once before 22nd June 2013. However, we want to retain our daughter's visa. Is it possible that I travel along with my daughter to Australia before 22nd June 2013 without my husband. Is there any alternative to visa condition 8502? Thanks, XYZ
Rupert
If this is what it states then this is what it states. Your husband can be in Australia within 12 hours, how can he not find time to do this in over six months and possibly longer. He needs to make the trip or lose both the visas. lebourvellec
No your husband must enter Australia before your daughter. If he doesn't they both will lose their visas and will need to do the whole process again. This is a visa condition, it can not be changed. As Rupert has said you husband has 6 months to fly to Australia, he could be on the next flight out, but both must enter Australia by the date stated. If you try to go alone with your daughter before your husband, she will be refused entry and returns back to India on the next flight.
