Alan Collett
Have prepared and e-lodged mine and my wife's today. Don't forget - you have a month to e-lodge, and late filing means an automatic penalty from our friends at HM Revenue. Best regards.
ali1988
Hi, I am just wandering if you happen to know if I can lodge a tax return when I am on a working holiday visa (417) as my visa runs out in a month and I am renewing it, but I am not sure if I have to do it when I leave the country or whether I can do it at any time. Thanks Ali

Thanks Ali Hi Ali. You should lodge your 2013 tax return after the end of June if you are still in Australia at that time. It is possible to submit an Australian tax return before the end of the tax year, but in our experience these tend to confuse the Tax Office and can take a while to be processed. Best regards.
