Phil & Vikki
We have brought too many things during our Christmas break in the UK and need to get them back to Australia. We think it will go in a tea chest or two size box. We were thinking of either Pickfords or someone like that. Does anyone know of any good shipping companies and how much it would cost? AJ235
Hi there, Depending on how soon you want the stuff we found sevenseas to be the cheapest. We sent 8 large boxes (40kg each), a 42inch TV, a mirror and several pictures and it cost us 500 pounds plus a $195 goods inspection fee in Australia. It was sent by sea and took exactly 3 months for us to get it. If you go onto http://www.sevenseasworldwide.com you can get a quote for exactly what you want to send and they will quote for air and sea. We had no trouble with them whatsoever. Ali B
We used Martells http://www.martells.co.uk/removals/index.php Based in SE UK. Shipped a box about 1m x 60cm x 60 cm no probs all v efficient. It cost £400 tho but that included custom clearance Oz end. Make sure whoever you go through discloses ALL costs as there are lots of hidden things with the admin and insurance. Also ask for door-to-door delivery. KayNala
I have used sevensea international twice now. Good service. They provide all the packing materials and boxes. Go online and get the quote. Relatively cheap compared to others.
