mattybe
Hi Zoe, good luck, you're certainly in the right place for a wealth of information. In fact I think I spent hours of reading these forums before I started my application. Unfortunately with visas it isn't a one size fits all, there are various type that suit different peoples situations. Students/Workers etc etc. A good place to get an idea is here :- http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/ However, some people to choose to use a registered migration agent to take out all the headache and reduce the chances of cocking it up, there is obviously a charge for this. Plenty of good recommended ones on here if you choose to take that route.
blossom
Welcome to poms in oz! I agree with the others, first step is to work out which visas you might be eligible for. Good luck.

Guest zoe6777
Are the migration agents expensive? Any idea of prices etc?
blossom
You are likely to struggle with that job. Do you have a partner? Most migration agents will tell you if you are able to apply for a visa or not for free.

blossom
Ok, well the call centre work won't help, but plumber could. Has it been a long time since he did that?
mattybe
Hi Zoe, agree with blossom, I can't see beauty therapist (ANZCO 451111) on any of the SOL lists unfortunately. Here is a discussion on the forum with some recommended agents on this site. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/171584-good-immigration-agency-use-2.html Has he worked as a plumber recently ?
