Que Sera Sera
My friends Collie bit me and had never bit anyone before and never did again. It was bizarre I was sat on her sofa and he came running over to say hello ( which he always did) and he jumped up and bit me on the chest! Really odd! I was just sitting on the couch eating something and she ran over. hope yours wasn't a sore bite!
KazzE
Not sure if I have posted this before but one of our dogs was attacked by a pit bull earlier this year. I am a believer in the fault laying with the owner, not the dogs fault it did not ask to be born, to be bought by an irresponsible idiot who did not socialise him or walk him, we never saw him walked around our street. this dog was put down after he attacked Winnie. This dog had attacked our other dog Libby a few months earlier when I was walking them, we walked past their house and he was in the garage, the owner was talking to a mate on the drive, the dog broke a chain to get at my dogs, he pinned Libby to the floor, locking onto the back of her head/neck. Luckily the man and his mate got him off pretty quick before he could properly look on and do any damage. I reported this attack but nothing was done and we never heard back from the dog warden. When we reported Winnies attack The local dog warden came to see us and told us that our report of an attack was the third one about this dog in as many weeks which was why it was put down. And he told us about a woman up the road who had been attacked in her own home by her neighbours dog (another pit bull owned by an idiot) when it got out and followed her in when she got home biting her on her legs and arm. So it was also put down. very sad for the dogs the owner said his children took the dog from the house to the park with no lead on, not that they could have controlled it on a lead. As soon as they saw hubby walking down the street with our two dogs (on leads) he charged across the park knocked Winnie off her feet and tore a 3-4 inch hole in her chest. The guy got the dog off and just walked off, no apology or anything. a really horrible experience, I think there should be tighter controls on people owning dogs, any type of dog, you should have to attend training before and after you get a a dog. But getting back to the original post Quantas are idiots, maybe what they should do is test every dog like they do at the shelters for animal and human reactive dogs and refuse to carry them based on actual fact.
