SparkleGirlSparkle
Hello everyone! Looking for some feedback and advice... My mum, sister and I moved over here in November - mum and sister on 457s (nurses), and me on a Working Holiday. Anyway, I am already looking at applying for my 2nd working holiday, so want to get out there and do some exploring/specified work and get the requirements completed early leaving me time to get some temp work and have some fun. I have just been looking into WWOOFing, and one first glance, it all seems good for what I need. I have access to additional funds, so 'earning' for these three months is not an issue, which is why working for board and food seems like the perfect solution. I am looking to work through February, March, April and May to complete the required hours. Ideally, I would like to have it all completed before June, as we have a family holiday then for my 30th birthday. I am planning on purchasing the book on New Year's Eve when I head into Sydney for the celebrations, so I will have all of January to search and find appropriate places, types of work and hours. I was just wondering if there were any pitfalls/common mistakes to avoid with WWOOFing for your 2nd WHV, either through personal experience or situations they have heard about? Is this a good way to go, or am I letting myself in for a fall? Any advice over this would be gratefully received, so thank you in advance if you take the time to reply! cloclostravels
The woofing book holds alot of information but I would advice to check out gumtree and free online websites closer to the time.
SparkleGirlSparkle
Yeah, I am getting the book on Monday. I will be WWOOFing only, so the book will tell me most things. I just wanted to know if there was something to watch out for that the book doesn't tell you about!
