Hospitality in WA is on the state sponsored list and on the sol. I could try getting a 457 sponsor or state sponsorship. If I do a diploma of hospitality in WA for 2 years I will pass the points test have a job on the list and could get state sponsorship on a 190 visa. Or even a 457. This has to work right?? If not do my degree and move when I'm 25 and I shall have 70 points. 10 points over...

Good idea? Thourghts?

What do you want to hear? Yes, it's a marvellous idea, Australia needs you, you're our hero!

If it's what you want to do, then go ahead and do it. Or go see a migration agent who will be able to let you know what type/s of visa you qualify for.

Then, go away and do what has to be done. Easy.

If you don't want to do that, fine - don't. But I don't think anyone on this forum really knows what exactly it is you're trying to achieve because thus far it's all talk and no action. If you spent time making it happen instead of talking about it, you'd be here or working towards being here, by now.

Sorry to be harsh, but I'm bored of all your talk now.

Goodbye and good luck.

but do you think it will work?

I dont want to do anything I want to be a film star, model or rich bum but because I have to work I will do something and then it may as well be something what gets me to Oz. Remember work is a secondary factor to me.

Jackrew again1???? Is this because your log in keeps getting blocked? Meaning you have more than one log-in? You've been Jackrew, Jackrewagain and now you're number 1 lol

with as many 'brilliant' ideas you keep coming up with . . . Australia will give you a visa just based on your extreme levels of innovation.

i wish I had your skills . . I could have saved the pain of 4 years at Uni

To be honest Jack, your best course of action to move to Australia, is to study, get experience and then emigrate. You are young and have time on your side.

I am not sure why the hurry, Australia isn't going anywhere. A lot of members on here have given you some great advice.

Why don't you set your self some goals. A short term goal is anywhere from 3 to 5 years. I know when you are young 5 years seems like a lifetime, but in reality it is not that long.

Cheers

Karen

I don't know if it will work - there is only one person who can find that out, and I'm sure you're smart enough to figure out who that is.

Your best course of study is something that you enjoy and can make a career out of. I would look on the list and see what occupations never come off.

At the end of the day, you have to enjoy what you do for a living, as you will b working for a long time. If you are just going to o something as a means of getting into Australia, I don't think that is a good idea. Who knows you may love living in Australia or could end up hating it.

At the end of the day, you are young and have lots of time on your side to figure out what you want to do. Don't rush into things, take your time and figure out what you want.

Like I said before, 5 years is nothing. I work as a credit counsellor and discuss goals with my clients, we look at long term goals which are 10 years plus.

Good luck, but don't rush things.
