Guest Stephanie29
Very nice Christmas present from Immigration - my Onshore Partner Visa application has been approved and all in just over 7 weeks. I was very surprised to say the least especially since they quoted a 13 month waiting period and I didn't hear anything from them apart from the letter to say they had received my application. Just want to say thanks for the all advice I read on this forum and although I only posted once before - I was a regular viewer of all the partner posts and got a lot of information from it. And if anyone needs any advice - feel free to get in touch. Applied: 30th October 2012, front loaded to Sydney office Approved: 20th December 2012 So happy!! :xmas23:
Guest GeorgeD
Congratulations! Every now and again there seems to be the odd one which slips through the net much quicker than the published timescale. Well done for being that lucky person! Unfortunately, the vast majority will still take the published 13 months...and there is probably absolutely nothing anyone can do to speed it up other than "be lucky" Good for you! Quinkla
Did you already hold an Australian visa? People who have had 300 fiance visas tend to get 820s quite quickly.
