Guest kg123
I want to apply for the 485 visa but I haven't applied for a Skill Assessment yet because I haven't received the Certificate of Registration from AHPRA. However, I think I can still complete the ANMAC's online application for Modified Skill Assessment and thus obtain a receipt or email of some sort. The 485 Temporary Graduate visa asks for some "evidence that you have applied for skill assessment". Hence my question is, would the receipt/email that ANMAC supplies be enough evidence for the 485 visa?
blossom
I am guessing it would be the same, but when I applied for tra they gave me a reference number which I used. That was a while ago, but I would guess they would all have something simular in place.
ali
If you think you'll pass the skills assessment why aren't you looking at something more permanent?
blossom
If it is anything like the tra (which I have no idea) there are different levels for the skills assessment. One just enough for you to apply for the 485 visa before doing another years work and paying out silly money.

Ah perhaps (don't know enough about the visas), but to register with AHPRA you need to be a qualified nurse
blossom
Ahhhh. Don't know anything about the modified skills assessment, but maybe this takes that into account? How long do you have op until you have to have applied for the 485 visa?

The modified assessment is if you are already registered with AHPRA (as your qualifications have already been assessed by the registration body).
