scottish1
Hi there, we are couple who has been thinking about moving now for a while but have a child on the way andabout to get married soon, the misses wants to move but I'm not totally sure yet as we would need to sell our house to do this, so if it went wrong we would have nothing to come back home too, I'm a vehicle autobody spray painter with 12 years experience if that helps
Rupert
Hi and welcome to PIO The first thing you could do, is see whether you qualify for a visa, otherwise the whole debate about whether to move here or not is moot. I have checked the occupation lists and vehicle painter is not on the SOL meaning this occupation does not qualify for independent skilled migration. So you would need a sponsor, be that an employer sponsor or a state sponsor. You would need to check all the state sponsorship lists individually to see if any are sponsoring this occupation, if there are then the state sponsored skilled migrant visa is probably the route I would recommend. A lot easier than trying to find an employer sponsor, unless you can possibly transfer with work? What does your wife do for a living?
