My profession was in LIMITED category but they approved my verification ! fingers crossed .. His field is 225113 - Marketing Specialist. The only state which is offering sponsorship for Marketing Specialist is ACT but Marketing Specialist field is 'Limited' in the occupation list published by ACT. Can anyone tell me: 1. What does 'Limited' means. 2. How can my friend proceeds in his application. 3. What will be the timeline to get invitation after submitting 190 EOI and choosing ACT as sponsorship state. 4. Sounds a little Tricky n Dicy !! No ? Anyways.. 1. If your occupation is listed as limited, it indicates that the current ACT demand for this occupation is almost met or numbers are restricted. 2. To seek nomination of a limited occupation you must have the occupation verified before you lodge your application for nomination. 3. Most applications for nomination will be processed within 30 working days. You must lodge your SkillSelect EOI (if you have not already) within 30 days of notification of your ACT nomination. 4. My ACT nomination got refused for 190 visa due to the reasons due to citizenship / security restrictions for 13 out of 14 jobs in ACT which I presented along with my application. As per my understanding, the security or citizenship requirements can be obtained once I get the Visa, so how can I have that before even applying for the visa? On the other hand, application for 190 visa requires State Sponsorship. What is this loop? I cannot get state nomination due to security / citizenship restrictions so I cannot apply for the visa.
