ali Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Thank you Julie, although I think I'll start going backwards now ... the kids told me we had a new postcode: UR44 - I had to smile even though I thought it was rather cheeky of them. They're cooking me a birthday meal from scratch, so if I don't live to tell the tale it's been nice knowing everyone lol Ali

ali Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Thank you all for your good wishes - Jo ... you sing so well lol and Cal I wouldn't expect anything less than a joke from you and I luv ya 2. The meal was great - and the kids needed surprisinly little supervision - although I suspect they left dad to do a bit more of the main course. They'd typed me a menu too which was nice and for those who are interested I was made: mushroom and garlic soup - a little heavy on the garlic which managed to keep any vampires away, veal in tomato cream sauce and a cheese cake which they'd made from a packet but which was nevertheless very tasty. Alex supervised her dad in getting my gift - I've been watchless for 3 weeks and dropped loads of hints but Nigel never noticed and was going to buy me earrings - typical! We're off to a friends later today for a bbq - so detox on sunday I think Thanks again - hopefully next year I may be able to celebrate here in Perth with some of you. Ali
