bonza2211
Hi Guys, I've decided to build a tracker to check the % of occupational ceiling achieved with every round of invitation. I will try to update it frequently with every round of application. Attached is a PDF version of the status as of 1st September 2012. The next round is on 15th September 2012. Updated. Total 370560 ceiling and 1158 invites as on 1/9/2012. Source : http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/ Attached is the complete table of invitations vs ceiling for all occupations that are part of Skillselect. Hope this helps! bonza2211
Thanks Bonza...you are great..!!! You are welcome. Guys, please note you will not find your specific nominated occupation but only the "MAJOR UNIT". You need to use the FIRST 4 DIGITS of your nominated occupation and you will find it on the tracker. Yes as per the skill select website, these are the numbers invited vs offered. Actually Im feeling a bit silly myself. Initially I assumed that the ceiling applies to the profession regardless of visa subclass under skill select. Now I'm realising that these reports seem to only count those invitations under EOI reasons being I see only a few visa categories being invited as per this report. However I'm sure the priority visas such as RSMS and ENS are also being invited, I just don't know if they are ruled by the ceiling or not. Can someone clear that up? I.E. -- Is the occupational ceiling A total for all skill select visa (including RSMS an ENS) ? -- RSMS/ENS still need to wait for an invitation to apply through skill select? Obviously now I know that ENS don't need the EOI as there is already someone expressing interest upfront. Thanks Bonza
Guest StormyGiraffe
Wow - great work and great info! Have a quick question - I see that insurance agent is on your list, but is not on SOL on the Immi website. I work in Insurance, so would love to know if I can apply for SkillSelect. Is this list a newer version of the SOL? And sorry if it is a silly question!

bonza2211
Guys i need to confirm whether their reports are rolling over month on month or if they are just including that round of invitations... For a department of that stature I would have thought their Reporting would be fairly simple... http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/pdf/skillselect-activity-summary-july-2012.pdf Has me confused a little. There is a table on page 2 showing for 186 ENS, 1356 EOI lodged? Why is this the case. Also it doesnt show invitation issued to any categories but a few. Does ENS/RSMS need invitations as well? reehan
Hi, Its a great effort. I have a question? The lower points mark for which invitations are sent is occupation specific or is it general? If i want to know what's the current lowest point mark for Software and Application Programmers, is it possible to have this information?
