Finalising Visa

Hi,

 

Our medicals arrived in Sydney on December 18th and Police checks arrived in Adelaide a week ago today. (everything else has been done)

 

This morning our agent rang and said immigration are finalising our visa but just require a certified copy of my sons new passport (his other expired in June).

 

When they say 'finalising visa' are we right in thinking this more or less sounds like we will be granted a visa ???

 

We feel this is quite re assuring but obviously know we have to wait until we hear the words 'you have been granted your visa' from our agent.

 

Anyone, any advice please??

I think it sounds like your visa will definitely be granted, and soon.

 

They just need the details of your son's new passport so as to ensure there won't be any glitches when you send the passports to London for the visa stickers to be put in them.

 

You are in the home straight now, for sure.

Thanks to you all for the advice and positive comments.

 

Copy of Josh's passport being certified tomorrow then sent to our agent who will receive Thursday and she will send by Fedex to Oz, so it will be there early next week.

 

So hopefully like you say, it shouldn't be much longer!! We hope!!!
