Guest poppyrose
My application for migration skills assessment for anmac was received at the end of June and I haven't heard anything yet. When I check my status online it says "waiting on supporting documentation" which worries me as I have forwarded everything necessary. I emailed to check with them in case there was anything I may have missed but have had no reply...does anyone have any idea on how long I am likely to wait? I guess I am just a tad impatient as I can't complete my EOI until I confirm my assessment is complete.

I shouldnt imagine that you'll be waiting much longer. The wait is tedious though isnt it :arghh: xx
pom4165
Hi Poppy Rose, I am in the same situation having just sent my skills assessment application to ANMAC last week. I wonder if your supporting docs described are NMC documents sent by post? My friend in Sydney describes the post as "snail mail" The current wait is about 10-14 weeks. so i am trying to put out of my mind until Christmas. Getting my house ready for sale, planning dog shipping etc. Good luck with your application. What kind of nursing do you do? I am in district nursing and am health visitor too. Looking to move to Adelaide 2013.
Guest winterlydreams
I sent in most of my documents by express mail and they arrived on the next working day. *sweet* And the verification of registration from AHPRA also arrived in the next one working day according to the Australian post tracking function. But when I checked on the internet, it says that one of my documents is not received (which cannot be true of course, because everything was sent in the same envelope), and the verification letter from AHPRA was also not received. So I phoned them and apparently they missed out the document above and just filed the verification letter under my name and not with the rest of my documents.
