Guest The Davidsons Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 before deciding on Brizzie then Melb, we started with Adelaide!. Again no work there for an Insurance bod like me. Life style there looks nice and relaxed, so best of luck with it all. What estate agents have you spoken in Hornchurch? What commission rate have you got them too?!

My other half is a barber and cuts the hair or mr patterson of patterson hawthorn so I told them I wanted 0.9% and signed on with them for just 7 weeks and after that I can go multi agent at the same rate. So I rung Readings and they would have matched their price so you could just play 1 off against the other which sould be easy for a Insurance bod like you ha ha. Just beware of haart as a friend left the house sale to her hubby and he signed with them for ages and are charging them over 4 grand not %. Not had to many viewers went on market just b4 Xmas. Had a offer but they haven't sold theirs yet. But got to get that bloody visa yet. Have you gone on a skilled visa? when did you apply? Marge x:jiggy:
Guest The Davidsons Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Yeah we got a skilled visa thanks to wifes job as a teacher. She got loads of points and a lowly insurance bod like me only got 5. I keep telling her it was my five points which got us over the line! The whole process took 1 year and 5 days. We only had meds on Dec 5 and police checks came a few days before xmas. It generally looks like it takes 2 months from that point, but we got it in 2 weeks. So great news. Good luck with the house sale and all the best with the wait for VISAs. Does the hubby work in Hornchurch?

Guest The Davidsons Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 We have a skilled visa due to wife being teacher. She got lots of points but still needed my 5, otherwise we could not have made it! The whole process took a year and 5 days. Cant wait to go now and am frantically sorting CV and applying for jobs. Now them nasty recruitment consultants cant ignore me as I have a visa! wooooohooo!

Perhaps our paths will cross sometime in the future - we too are hoping on Melbourne and I'm a teacher although DH didn't need my 5 points as we're going on a STNI and only needed 70 points total.
