Well, can't quite believe it's nearly here. Shipping went this week and now on count down. Really excited about it but dreading the flight. We have a 12 months old and 3 year old (just turned 3 last week). Any advice on flying with small kids welcome. Concerned about ears popping, screaming baby, bored toddler, washing bottles etc (using them only to try and relieve ear pressure).....oh and the dirty looks from other passengers....!!! Before kids we were probably guilty of the last comment...lol!

Thanks

Hi

I was dreading the flight with my 2 young ones , especially as they were thetype of child who wouldnt still foran hour ,never mind a full flight!! lol..

Thankfully it wasnt that bad at all, we flew singapore and their in flight entertainment kept kiddies amused and myself and hubby did 'shifts' watching / occupying them. We stopped in Singapore for a few hours where we let them run riot in the sunflower garden and play areas and all in ,it worked well for us and wasnt half as bad as id expected.

Our golden rule was NO sleeping unless in the air!!

Hi,

Try not to get too worried about the flight with the kids, we did it 4 weeks ago with our two (2.5 & 4.5), I was dreading it, we flew Manchester - Singapore (with a stop in Munich) with a 10 hour stop and then onto Perth.

The kids were brilliant as were the airline staff and the other passengers. We took a few small suprises on board so they had new toys to grab they're attention for a while and lots of colouring books and then they either slept or watched films. I was really proud of them, it was a long flight and they just too it in their stride.

Try not to worry, it'll be fine, I promise!
