It means that your employer will sponsor you for a visa. The employer needs to be a business sponsor, they nominate the position then sponsor you , and any secondary applicants.

 

It will likely be a 457 visa, which is only Temporary resident, if you leave or lose your job you have 28 days to find a new sponsor or leave Australia. Depending on the type of work you will be doing you may need a medical, and you will need Health Insurance cover for the visa process.

It's a chef job he has been over in th uk a nd owns a few. Are restaurants in Sydney area I have always wanted to go over there but never thought I would make it he mentioned a 4 year sponsorship does this sound right

your employer might pay it, these are things you'll need to ask them along with job details such as when they want you out etc. if your paying it yourself then the costs are on the immigration websites, i dont think theyre that expensive but dont have the costs off the top of my head sorry

Yes it will be the 457 - it cost $360?? But your employer will usually pay for it - you will need to provide all your training certificates etc or you may have to do a skills assessment.

 

It is maybe worth asking your employer if they will consider sponsoring you for PR after 2 years??
