samc
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help. I have applied for my registration as a nurse and my application has been successful. yay! The problem is I was granted this last October so only have until this October to present myself. The original plan was to be out there by July but unfortunately it wasnt possible. My sister got married in June but her partner lost his job before the wedding so I gave her my savings towards the wedding, I now don't have the funds to go until next march ish. I was just wondering if anyone had been able to extend there period longer than a year. I don't want to book a flight and then have to go through the lengthy process of applying to AHPRA again and then be out there before its ready. thank you for any help sam

You need to email your case officer requesting for extension and they will then confirm. If you seach the forum you will find few posts confirming successful extension. ......mansawant
