roger2shirts
I'm trying to import an electrical item from the USA value $800 and weighs 30 KG. It shouldn't be a customs or import tax issue. So what is the cheapest way for doing the "shipping / posting / courier etc"? Any ideas or recommendations please.
calNgary
Hubby has used couriers a few times getting stuff from the UK, and thats always worked out ok and you can track the stuff whilst its en route. I think its called Interparcel, see if they do the USA too. Cal x
roger2shirts
I'm currently looking at a company called http://www.bongous.com just wondering if it would be ok?
calNgary
As long as the place selling your item is happy to post to Australia and the value is less than $1000 you shouldnt have any issues at all. I know some USA companys won't post to Australia, and this can cause problems so check first. Not sure re the company above,Id maybe google their name and see what feedback you can find out there in cyber world,lol.. Cal x
thombatt
Will it work in Oz? The voltages are different. I think this is one of the reasons lots of US companies will not ship outside the US. Could open themselves to lots of legal action.
