burmtra
Hi, I'm just trying to clarify exactly. If I wanted to add my partner to my 457 visa (I have been working on a 457 in Australia for 14 months how would she be eligible for that? Would my employer have to agree to it and provide some sort of assurance or would I even have to inform my employer. If I have to provide a letter from my employment what would it need to say exactly? Thanks Liam
Guest lisa crowe
Yes, your employer would have to confirm that they are will to extend their obligations towards your partner in the form of a letter attached to your partners application. I checked this out as want to add my daughter to our 457..Hope this helps, oh and the visa fee is $360 payable by yourself or your company if their nice enough

Guest lisa crowe
Not sure, hun, from what I can gather they just have to do with her what they did with you, what ever they had to promise for your 457 they just have to extend to cover your partner, if unsure look on immigration web page or phone them
