Guest Jadeb
I have a working holiday visa i would like to set up a business when I come out, considering 2options 1 is an online business, I don't know if you can change from a whv to another but I'm not sure if a business visa is the right on to go for as it seems you need a fair bit of cash behind you, which I don't have, I'm really confused by the immigration website any input would be appreciated cheers

PositivePixie
Can I apply for a business visa while out there on a whv? Seeing as you say you haven't got a shed load of funding behind you, doubtful - the business visa has certain financial requirements to it: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/business/visa-options.htm
Rupert
Can I apply for a business visa while out there on a whv? Nothing to stop you applying for any visa you want to apply for. The question is do you qualify for it, you would have to demonstrate a substantial track record of having run a business with a very high turnover (think hundreds of thousands per year). Rossmoyne
The WHV is not an "easy visa" so you can get into Australia in the first instance and then apply for other visas. The WHV is exactly what it says. A Working Holiday Visa. You cannot start a business on this visa. If your aim is to come to Australia to start a business, I suggest you consult a Migration Agent to discuss your visa options.
