Guest shaunaforoz
I love libaries, I think they are great places, especially in the last few years with the introduction of PC's and other bits of technology (easier to find books and of course come on the PIO website). Yesterday came into the library, plugged my earphones into the PC and started to surf while listening to 2fm when Adele came on. You know how it is, a song comes on the radio that you like and you start singing along, maybe forgetting that you are not in your car or house but in fact in a public place where being quite is seen as normal and acceptable behaviour. I was so busy concentrating on what was on the pc that i did not realise I was singing away....problem being there are about thirty PC's in the library and there were about ten or fifteen people there listening to me sing along (not counting the people in the book section who I couldnt see), my next problem, and I have no hesitation in admitting this, is that I am completely tone deaf!!!!! I am so mortified....they were all looking over at me and laughing. My question is....what is the most embarrassing stupid thing you have ever done. I could write a book at this stage, again I say I should not be allowed out unsupervised!!!

Candygirl
My most embarrassing moment was my first day at a new office. I was going over to meet my new boss. He had gone outside the building to have a smoke and as I got out of the firm's car my skirt fell to the floor. The driver realised and quickly nipped out and stood iin front of me. Yes you guessed it everyone outside the building (including my new boss saw everything). If that was not bad enough six months later it was well documented in the staff magazine. My name was not mentioned in the funny article which had been written by a trainee as to her funniest moment whilst working at the firm, but everyone knew it was me and I had to re-live it all again. I laugh about it now, but at the time I was absolutely mortified.

Guest shaunaforoz
I gave up smoking recently (ten months ago) and lets say I might have over compensated with chocolate in a the first six months but I have now cut it out of my diet altogether. However due to my embarrassment I did have a chocolate crispie bun to make myself feel better )

It is the sort of thing I can imagine I would do - certainly do it when driving!
3FatCats
Ok I sometimes talk to myself when I drive, it helps get things off my chest etc etc....so at traffic lights or in a queue, when the person next to me sees, I pretend I'm talking on the hands free..... :embarrassed: One day it is going to be someone I know.... or someone from PIO, if you see a slightly agitated woman who appears to be having an argument with herself, yep that's me...
