Johndoe
My local coles has an English section.....................and they can stick it! $4.44 for a jar of Heinz pickled red cabbage (find the Oz versions soft and not crunchy enough).................$3.70 for Paxo stuffing....................$6.70 for Golden Fry gravy granules :elvis:.................Golden fry?????????? What the bloody hell's that?.................what's wrong with stocking bisto?..............they'd probably charge $12 for that. Enjoyed me Yorkie Bar though, which was the only reasonable price on the shelf.

Irishgirl1
We don't get much in our local Coles Kev, but our local IGA is pretty good we have Yorkies for 69c at the moment might be close to there use by date they are for the OH so I don't care lol, I love my Double Deckers which are $1.69 so not too bad, some of the stuff is very expensive, I do buy the no peel marmalade I think it's Robinsons or Robertsons or something like that it is lovely. I suppose not many of you would have had Irish Brown Bread there is nothing like it, well my Cousins MIL has mananged to send over the mix for it, I did'nt think it would get through customs but it did. so we are all putting our orders in lol (costs more for the postage mind you) and all you have to do is add water to the mix, lovely stuff with real butter (devondale) and strawberry Jam and a cup of tea. BritChickx
A tin of Heinz beans is $5 over here in some shops...because they don't normally have Heinz they have 'Watties' a poor excuse for a company lol, it's owned by heinz, but that brand tastes nothing like the Heinz beans you get or sauce etc. So I insist on getting Heinz beans every time, no point eating things you don't like! Also buy the love of my life....Marmite

MARYROSE02
Still waiting for a Pommie section in my Coles, although they do seem to cater for Spurs fans, with a kosher counter.
