Hi we are moving out to Perth in 4 weeks time and our container will be Oz bound shortly carrying amongst other things Christmas presents from relatives for our to youbg children. Theres nothing there of any substantial value but obviously they are new. Do you think these will need declaring !!Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You only have to declare gifts over AUD $900 on the incoming passenger card given out on the plane

So can't see you being allowed less than that in the container, someone will no doubt confirm,

but if what you are packing is less than AUD $900 you will probably be ok

We have first birthday and Christmas presents in with our lot. We just put got the rellies to put tags on them and a ribbon so it was clear it was a present (and helps us keep track of who gave what!). Our container hasnt arrived yet so we will let you know if we have any probs
