AIQS Skill Assessment

Hi guys I hope if someone can help here ,I submitted my qualifications to Aiqs for migration purpose on 24th of may 2012.

So far I haven't received any reply and I have tried to ask about the status of my request couple of times with no reply back .

 

My questions:

-Is it normal for aiqs assessment to exceed 2 months and if someone has done it previously how was the aiqs results received i.e. registered post ,email ,etc....?

-I hold Bachelore degree in civil engineering and I am a ceritifed cost engineer by aacei along with 8 years of experince ,as per Aiqs policy Civil Engineering is considered as an alied displine however its a matter of case by case study can anyone tell me what are my chances for a positive assessment ?

My partner and I have just applied for a 175 visa, he is a Quantity Surveyor. I have just looked up our dates of when we applied to AIQS as it does seem like a long time you have been waiting. We submitted on 23/04/2012 by email application and received our possitive result back on 01/05/2012 by email followed by a letter a few days later.

 

 

I emailed AIQS to make sure they had received our application, which they had, and received my responce the vey next day. I was advised at that point that the turn-around for applications was anywhere upto 2 months as per their website but my immigration officer had already told me that she had another client that had applied to AIQS and had a reply within 3 days.

 

I have an email address for the girl I spoke to, she was also the person who emailed our results. I dont think I can post an email address on here so i'll send it to you in a message (let me know if you don't get it though because i'm not sure I know how to send a message). I would ask her if a) its been received b) what email address they have for you to email your results.
