desreb
Is anyone planning to go out to a pub/bar to watch some Olympics events, or the ceremonies. It would be nice to find somewhere with a bit of occasion, although I'm not sure where that might be. Time Out has actually run an article on this for Sydney: http://www.au.timeout.com/sydney/sports/features/11076/where-to-watch-the-olympics-in-sydney D
flag of convenience
Living in sleepy Perth not sure there are any venues open at that time.I will record the opening as well as getting up at 3.30 WA time to watch. I have heard listening to London Talk Back Radio that it is really good....
Paul1Perth
Once the opening ceremony waste of money is over and done with and the action starts I'll be watching most at home now my son has paid for foxtel. They have 8 dedicated channels. Between that and the free to air channels I might be missing out on a bit of sleep.
desreb
I don't have Foxtel, so hoping for UK VPN or FTA when watching at home.

The BBC has laid on 26 dedicated channels ..............so if you are an aussie living in london and you want to see your favourite cyclist race ......it will all be there ................makes a change from our experience watching the olympics in W,A from Barcelona in 92 ..............i thought Australia were the only team in the olympics ......LOL
