I wonder where in the uk they still offer en training... maybe the nursing workforce in Australia is really that short staffed... my friend was a RGN in australia for 15 years and let her registration lapse when she had her twins.. it would cost her around 8000 dollars to retrain ( she has told me) and would have to go to a regional hospital ( nowhere near her) so she is now a receptionist...
