hongnor23
The first 6 weeks was the hardest because you here a lot of people on here getting news in the first couple of weeks ,so your kind of waiting to here something . We're just at the stage now where you think surely it can't be much longer ha
Guest Corkgal
Hey. We were waiting 7 weeks. It was terrible waiting. Lodged 22ND of May and finally came through July 10TH. Keep positive I know its easier said than done!!! Good Luck.
Guest TobyJD
Ours was lodged on the 19/6, medical info referred 11/7, health requirements finalised 26/7 so as our immigration agent reports that the case officer is ready and waiting to process... I'm hoping I wake up Monday morning and they're done. If you see someone blue in the corner, that's just me holding my breath :cute:
Guest trasi
toby, my medicals have also been referred  do they tell you why ? good luck to everyone waiting xx
Guest TobyJD
Hi trasi - only because of an operation 10 months ago, and because my fiancee works in medicine. Our immigration agent said that if nothing is raised in the first couple of weeks, you're generally fine and that for the vast majority of cases, all that is asked is that you sign a document agreeing to pay the first x of any amount of treatment. Do you work in medicine or education? When were they referred? Regardless, I'm sure you'll be fine:wink:
Guest trasi
yes, im a nurse. The drs in london told me that they would contact me within 4 days if there was any problem with my bloods or xray. They didnt so i presumed all was ok. Next thing i know, my meds have been referred i have no idea why.... nothing wrong with me (as far as i know)...... so cant understand it. Guest TobyJD
...well in that case then Trasi, I've good news for you! My immigration agent said all medical information is referred to 'health operations', as the case officer for the visa isn't qualified to offer an opinion on medical information (as you'd expect). So it doesn't mean that anything is wrong, just that it's being checked as routine. Where you moving to? We're off to Brisbane and can't wait!
