Guest heinerwf
Hi, my wife and I have started our application for permanent visa but will move to Oz prior to PR on a 457 and lodge our application for PR soon after our arrival. Regarding the medicals do we have to fear any issues, as my wife's just found out that she's pregnant with our 4th baby? I hope the fact that we intend to apply with child no. 4 on the way won't reduce our chance on having a permanent visa granted?! Anyone with experiences on that matter? Many thanks. lebourvellec
Your only problem with lodging application when your wife is Pregnant is the Chest Xray - which is required as part of the medicals - your application can be put on hold once you have a CO until the baby is born, this shouldnt affect your application - and it is nornal for appliactions to be put on hold for this reason. Xrays are not recommended while pregnant, certainly not for non-medical circumstances. Has your 457 been granted yet?? As your wife will need Hep B test - if having the baby in Australia. Guest heinerwf
The application for our 457 is still running, but hope it will be granted within the next two weeks. So the application for PR may only be put on hold-I think we can live with that. Many thanks for your response.
