Whelehan
Hi All, This is a long shot, we are currently applying for 190 visa and will be going to Melbourne. Just wondering is there any possible way of us bringing my husband's sister with us (she is our child-minder), she is over 30 and have no approved skill or qualification? Thanks for any comments. NickyNook
I think diplomats are allowed to bring their domestic servants to Australia when they come. But ordinary migrants bringing a child-minder? Sorry - no chance.

lebourvellec
Very Unlikely - the only options if eligible would be Last Remaining Relative - currently processing times are 12 years, which is increasing all the time. Or another option would be a Student Visa - but this would cost alot with International fees, and no guarentee of being able to stay. Or re-train in something - i.e Nursing. Whelehan
Thanks so much. We were thinking of Student Visa as she's currently looking at options regarding attending college to study nursing, but fees in Oz are too much for us. Maybe study here and then go in a few years. Anyway thank you for your responses.
