Geordielass44 Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 It is 5 weeks since my medical with the panel Dr. I had blood in my urine then and again when retested 2 weeks later. In between i went to my GP who also found blood in my urine. He then said i should have a renal scan which i did privately to speed up the process. Everything was normal. Since then i have had a total of 3 urine tests all sent to the lab - all with blood in - and results came back normal. Trying to get to the bottom of the problem i came off the Pill as this may be a cause of the blood. So today i went to the Dr hoping that there would be no blood BUT there was and now a trace of protein has made a guest apppearance too!!?!! It has been sent for testing. My panel Dr wrote to my GP asking for results of the initial urine test which apart from the blood came back normal. I have told my GP why i need this sorting and he is being fab BUT this is taking ages......and i dont know wether we are looking too deeply into it now i have readthe advice for panel doctors someone posted a link to.The protein really concerns me as none of my 3 tests for the panel Dr showed any protein and now wondering if this will be an issue..... Beginning to feel that my medicals wont even get sent never mind whats going to happen when they get to Oz...referral and months of waiting.......:arghh::arghh::confused: Anyone been through this????? I only did my medical 2 weeks ago - and they found a trace of blood .. i did another urine sample at the time of the medica (15 mins after the first one!!) and obviously that had blood in there too. Just heard yesterday that my medicals been referred, but my boyfriends is fine and being finalised! Only problem is I am due to fly on the 4th October so only 3 weeks now and am worried it wont be done in time!!!!! Did yours get resolved in the end? What happened?
