Brompton folding bike on Singaport Airlines flight to Sydney

Hi, I am flying out to Sydney from London on 8 August by Singapore Airlines. I have unvalidated permanent visa so can carry 40 kgs. We are family of three (couple with 8 years old son) so we can carry 120 kgs in total. Is there any issue carrying folding bike on flight and can someone experienced advise on how to carry bike. I mean can I carry separately (does need packing) or inside one of the suitcase. The weight of the bike is around 11 kg.

It will need to go in the hold, either in a suitcase or it's own box/bag should be fine.
