Benoli
well I'm a little confused......when I log into the DIAC site my son's status used to just say 'referred' with the date beside it. Now there's another line added which says 'further medicals received' with today's date on it. I haven't sent them anything more as they wanted another specialist report and it won't be ready til the end of the month. Not sure whats going on..........

ozymandias
Morning, New member only finally got around to joining yesterday. In the june gang of 176 but not actually filled in my details yet, been reading all the amazing advice for weeks. Thanks for keeping my relatively sane. I Knew my son and I were going to be referred based on the panel doctor booklet somebody kindly attached to one of these medical threads. Been waiting very paitently for over two weeks now and at this point I am giving out. I realise Benoli two and a bit weeks is a bit of a short by your lenghty wait, but i need to feel more in control. I have seen others on a 176 who were referred the same date as me have their visa issued and at this point I am begining to suspect GH are so overwhelmed that the prioritise those who shout loudest. So this is my query, I know I have seem an email address for Gh somewhere but can not find it, does anybody have it to hand. I know I could call them but my phone coverage is pathetic so email might be safer. Thanks for all the help, best of luck to all thos still waiting on GH. Rach x Hi fultonclan, You can do both at the same time, though I think yours is still too early to be concerned of, give them another week and see if there would be some changes. After that you can emal them to check and follow up your meds.. Goodluck to you:wink: Edited August 17, 2012 by megawatts
Guest EMhinds
I once emailed the GH office and my email was forwarded to my CO. Somehow she was extremely annoyed by that and vehemently made it clear that any future correspondences were to be made via her. I wondered why she was infuriated - Food for thought! By the way I am still hanging on for the visa to be granted Edited August 17, 2012 by EMhinds

It was just a question for future reference. Don't think GH would appreciate it either! Lol x
megawatts
Thinking that we are on the mercy of the CO and GH helplessly begging to give us something to hold on too is actually more frustrating than waiting.. I have experienced all of this ,that each time I email and call them, I always think of the right words to say so not to pester them and put my records on the bottom of the file, but again i thought that these guys are professionals and know how to deal with all of this(i hope). But you know guys once you received the grant you will know its worth the wait:biggrin:

Lol x Thanks for all the above, totally at a loss as to what to do now, I defiantely do not want to get anybodys back up especially co's. Several other pio's seem to ring/email and get various timeframe answers, but more importantly movement on their files, sometimes the next day. Would appreciate any advice, I was refered on 30/7 my son on 2/8.

I’ve emailed the CO a few days ago but we haven’t got a response yet. I tried to call GH yesterday, but they were on voice mail. Does anyone know the best time to call? Should we email? argh, it’s very frustrating not knowing what to do, I’m worried in case we are forgotten!

Didn't think it would be, but tried anyway. Called at 2.25, straight to ansaphone, 2.32 picked up after 2 rings, nearly gave myself a heart attack. So worked for me. Good luck!!
