Hi Scott,

Thanks for your reply. Diesel Fitters are in demand here in Australia at the moment so the prospect looks good for you. If you'd like to email me your CV (jobs@australianmigrations.com) I'd be happy to have a look and let you know if we have any clients currently looking to employ someone with your set of skills and experience.

I hope to hear from you.

Cheers,

John Young

I have sent you all my details but as always my age (54) prevents anyone from even considering me: even though I have had years (30) of heavy vehicle and contractors plant repair experience and am actualy teaching it to apprentices in an FE college in Uk

Its still a no go no one is interested:

My OH is a Senior Technician for BMW any ideas on what kind of salary he would expect to receive working in Australia and would he be able to get a sponsorship? Thanks

Salaries differ from employer to employer, however one of our Registered Migration Agents advises that workers on subclass 457 visas must be paid their occupation's market salary which has to be at least $51,400 AUD. Of course, your partner may be paid above this rate however it's difficult for me to advise any further without seeing his CV.

Hope that helps!

Regards,

John

Hi just wondered if you are interested in fire alarm technician/ project manager or if you have any contacts within the security industry.

Thank you.

Unfortunately we do not currently have any clients looking looking for staff with this occupation.

All the best.

John.

John,

Hi I am sure you would be able to help me, my partner is a 31 year old VW mechanic in London. He would like to carry on his carrer in Australia preferably in Queensland or Victora due to friends and family already being in these areas but we are open to suggestions. We have been to an exhibition expo and the migration expert was very positive and we were offered further contacts by a company if we were willing to consider Perth but unfortunatelly it was not the area we wanted.

If you also have any contacts in the building industry I am a tenant liaison officer currently training as an assistant site manager for tenanted properties having refurbishment works carried out and would be interested to carry this on if possible.

Any information would be appreciated.

Regards

Mason33
