Hi

Has anyone migrated with less than 2 years on their passport. Do you have to have no less than 2 years on your passport, its just that i read about this in a magazine check list.

Hi

I had a moment of panic over this one as hubby and I both have passports that expire Sept 2009

We have just had our visas granted and put in our passports.

You must have more than 2 years left when you apply

having the two unused pages was almost an issue, why do they just stamp anywhere, I would like them to start on the first page and all the stamps in date order please!:err:

hope this helps:wubclub:

our paperwork all said to have at least 2 years left on your passport and the really annoying thing is if you need to get a new one, the passport agency only transfer 9 months onto your new one regardless of how much more then 9 months you have.

i too was in a panic about this but i only had 18 months left on mine when i had the visa put into my passport in begining of Jan this year then 16 months when i came out and validated them in march this year and when i emigrated in August this year only 10 months!!! I am now in a panic to get them renewed as they run out in June (6 months) but looks very simple and similar procedure to uk we just send them off to Canberra. I have been told by the airlines that i can travel with upto a minimum of 3 months left on them.

Good luck:jiggy:
