Australia is a country which doesn't carry too much weight on the world stage but it appears to have been successful (probably with some help) in getting Japan to stop hunting Humpback whales in the Antartic at least for now.

The first step in a long journey. Maybe next we'll see a ban on the Minke's?

Yes I read this too, and this is great news and the first time I have read about Oz being involved in making a change in another country!

Maybee we have some one with balls at last in charge of this wonderful country, perhaps we should stop buying Toyota cars, but wait until my wife retires in September, ha ha.
