What area of NSW will you be looking for work in ??

My hubby is a carpenter by trade - and in the building industry - there is quite alot of work around at the mo on the central coast & Sydney & Newcastle way.

My sister lives near Newcastle so thats where we will be looking to live, but oh is happy to travel, just wondered if needs any certificates or licences before starting work.

My Hubby is a carpenter too and we will be moving to the Central Coast in the next few months it is always a worry about finding work so hope that he doesnt have too much trouble.

Hi Gizmo

I have family at Avoca and Ettalong Beach so in the first weeks we will be with them but hope to find a rental quickly. Hubby hasnt got worked lined up yet think harder to do from this side of the water hopefully once were there he can get out and job hunt. Have spent a lot of time on the Central Coast and love it! Where abouts are you?

Hi Lynda

We are in Terrigal, not far from Avoca, there has been alot of carpentry work around this way lately,

when do arrive here please let us know as im sure my hubby (who is a carpenter by trade but in the frameless glass trade of building at the mo) will surle know of a contact for your hubby to get some work.

Wishing you heaps of luck, please dont be afraid to contact us - be nice to help you and meet us with some pommies, forgot to say my hbby (although english) is a aussie citizen and has alot of builder friends out here and has known thuis area since 1994

Hi

We were over in September and took the kids to Terrigal, actually had a good drive around the coast to get our bearings so at least it wont be totally new to us, tho i know we've always been tourists before. I love Sydney but also happy to be the drive away.

Thanks for the offer of help Im sure it will be daunting when we arrive even with relatives there, hubby will be itching to start work not the type to sit about. So thanks again just need to sell the house and we'l be on our way.
