Guest bigjez Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 our mortgage was with them but sold ours in july they were always tyring to lend us money no wonder they are in trouble hope goes all well
TheBrammies Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Don't panic nothing will change for you apart from who you owe the money too. what ever happens someone will buy or own the mortgage book which is you and your mortgage you are valuable because the interest you pay on your mortgage is profit to who ever owns the mortgage book if the goverment takes over you will owe the money to them under the same agreement as you had with northern rock the only change you should notice is the name of the company you pay your monthly installments to don't worry at all the only people going to lose is the shareholders and a few ministers your house is safe as long as you keep pying your mortgage and my personel thoughts are it won't go under but taken over you are perfectly safe so don't worry
