Guest Ron & Chel Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 wow that was quick did you do your own application or use an agent
Guest Gollywobbler Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I've resorted to a glass of wine (or 3) to try to encourage a desire for sleep.... Might just go to bed and read for a while. That usually helps. Cheers Gill

Guest mandy&Jem Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 hope every one managed to get some kip last night...lol... Ron and Chel, it was only quick because it is a temporary student visa lasting four years and was all done online, you are not allowed to apply until 124 days before your course starts......actually because of medical problems it wasnt as quick as it ccould of been, didnt leave much time to sort flights ect out. I didnt use an agent. Im sure four years will go quickly and when i graduate i could then be sent back Engalnd when my visa expires..... so i then have to go through a much longer process, of waiting like you guys, for a another visa, sponsered skilled or similar. This visa option was a last resort for me to attempt to immigrate and was my only option i had of attempting to get into oz...... as i am 45 years old and will be past the age limit when i qualify.....I know that at the momment there are exceptions on certain skilled jobs that they will ignore the age limit....The job i am training for is one of them....I hope this is still the case in four years time.....lol....not looking forward to the stress of all this again....lol
