Hi Chrissy,

We know how you feel hun, all this waiting is a killer, I keep thinking this is really the last chance before Christmas for us to hear anything. Richard (hubby) is like a cat on hot bricks, wanting me to check my e-mail every five minutes. He is alright as he was born in Oz and has duel nationality!

The mixed feelings..... going through the same thing, sometimes I just feel like crying and I don't even know why! Then the next minute I'm all excited again. It must be the suspence, I'm sure when we know either way, I'll settle down as I'll know what I'm doing. In limbo at the moment.

Good luck

I Know isn't sad how your whole life is taken over with it all. Hubby gets me to check on line progress of visa daily. Hoping can distract ourselves for a bit with Christmas. I don't know how some of you cope with the waiting it drives me crazy !!

Yes, Christmas is a good time for distraction. I know I'll be kept busy!

Chrissy where are you hoping to go to? We are heading for Brisbane in August.. fingers crossed!

Hi

I have a job with community mental health and drug and alcohol team in NSW as a nurse but will be living just the other side of the Murray river in Mildura. We have investigated Mildura no end on the internet and friends we have in oz say its a great place to live but gets very very very hot!!! in the summer 40 degrees, so plenty of sun block and a house and car with good air con. We have 2 boys aged 6 and 18 months. We have thought about doing this on and off for years but never had the courage to pursue it. We are hoping to be gone end of Jan early Feb. We have a buyer for our house who i have to say has been very patient.

Hi chrissy

Oh bugger :arghh: you would think he/she would have processed what they could have before going on holiday going by your timescale your not far off getting the visa granted. Do you have a agent that can chase this up for you??

Hi Mrs B

No haven't got an agent, doing it all ourselves. CO has given us an email of his accounts manager so not sure if she takes on his cases whilst away. Hopefully our meds could be cleared fairly soon. We are keeping everything crossed at moment

I know i think we were being a little too optimistic but you live in ever hope that something might get done quickly. But yes i think you're right; hopefully it'll be a great start to the new year all going well.

Just thought would let you know someone else has taken over processing our visa whilst CO is on his hols. Had email this morning from her requesting more info. So more optimistic today, could have that early pressie after all as looks like meds have been processed HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
