Thanks Brammies,

My OH is a painter and Decorator so we are going to try and get in on his skill's only problem is they changed the pathway ,so don't no if we will get in on the skilled visa due to Steve not having the qualifications ,but has twenty odd years experience ,I been trying to look for sponsors as well but it not easy.

Just want to get to Perth' so I can have all my family back together ,cannot afford an agent ,will be doing it alone with help from all you great people on PIO .

The way I see it is

What is fair or reasonable is irrelevant.

It is the complying with all the regulations in the visa class you are applying under that matters.

The current regulations require qualifications to pass the TRA.

Few years ago there was student visa option

Not sure if this visa class is still available or applicable.

I know this is not an ideal situation but I cannot see any other solution

My sister and her family moved to Brisbane in sept 07 on a permanent visa and my son also moved out in sept 07 on a working visa.Miss them dearly.

I think the person sponsoring you has to be an Australian citizen.

They look at the previous three years salary of your sponsor

I think it is $50k Dollars each year you will need to check this.

100k,100k,49.800k does not work

but

50k,50k,50k does

I know this because my first sponsor could not sponsor me because

On the third year was $200 short!

Luckly i managed to get a second sponsor.:biglaugh:
